Here I am back again

It’s been quite a while since I have actually started to write again. I have always loved to write but over the years this practice of writing has abruptly stopped; mostly due to overloaded work or sometimes procrastination takes a toll on me.

I love to write with a pen on a paper. I’m still that old school girl who loves to do things old school style. I would love to read and write a love letter on an Archies card or on a colourful paper book over a whatsapp message, status or video.

I still prefer printed newspapers over digitised portals. I love to hear the rains and feel their drops on my skin. I love to get drenched in the rain and take a warm shower afterwards relieving the day’s sordidness. And I love to read old books. I love to read Nancy Drew and Archies. I love to smell the pages of those torn worn out covers of long lost books. I love to get seeped into them on a rainy evening and get lost into the dreamy imagination of Sheldon’s exasperated heroines who single handedly manages love, life and still shines bright.

I love food made by my mother. I love to curl up into my bed with my blankets on and watch some 90s series where the romanticized hero falls in love with the heroine. I love movies- the so called popular movies. I love to wear things that are super cheap. My drivers taught me how to haggle them and I am learning it.

I love to lead a life where there is more of love and less of gains; where we don’t act on calculative motives.
